About Me

Hi, I’m Runa. If you’re going to spend time here, there are a few important things you should know about me.When I was young, I was involved in a severe accident and spent a long time in a coma. The brain damage I sustained permanently affected both my speech and my memory.My speech is very limited, so I use assistive technology to communicate. I combine dictation tools and predictive typing with an ElevenLabs text-to-speech system, which gives me a way to voice my thoughts. It can take me a little longer to process things and form sentences, so there may sometimes be pauses.My short-term and long-term memory are also heavily affected. I often struggle to remember details or past conversations, although I tend to remember how something made me feel.

What this may look like on stream

I might repeat myself or completely lose track of a conversation.I may forget something you have already told me, even when it mattered to me.If I ever seem distant or appear to be ignoring something, it is not intentional. Sometimes my thoughts simply lose their place.This is not part of Runa’s character or lore. It is simply part of my everyday life.Thank you for understanding, and for spending time here.
